| Abstract: | The project was carried out with the aim of determining the prevalence of Salmonella spp in raw chicken meat sold in municipal markets of the Gualaceo canton. The 3M Petrifilm SALX system was used. As a result of the study, the prevalence of the bacteria was 0%. |

Se utilizó el sistema 3M Petrifilm SALX. Como resultado del estudio, la prevalencia de la bacteria fue de 0%. |
