Abstract:	Hermeneutics has had a long and fruitful way throughout its history, this article will be a retrospective view of hermeneutics with intent to contextualize it to appreciate its implications in the educational process. For it will be clarified what is meant by educational process also will be observed and the relationship between positivity hermeneutic Gustav taking as reference Droysen. Finally with Gadamer will analyze the importance of hermeneutics in education.
Translated abstract:	La hermenéutica ha tenido un largo y fructuoso camino a lo largo de su historia, en el presente artículo se realizará una visión retrospectiva de la hermenéutica con la intención de contextualizarla para apreciar sus implicaciones con el proceso educativo. Para ello se esclarecerá lo que se entiende por proceso educativo, además se observará la relación entre hermenéutica y positivismo tomando como referencia a Gustav Droysen. Finalmente con Gadamer se analizará la importancia de la hermenéutica en la educación.
