El diseño universal del aprendizaje como estrategia educativa en el área de lengua y literatura para estudiantes de sexto año de educación general básica

Abstract

The research work called "The Universal Design of Learning as an educational strategy in the area of language and literature for students in the sixth year of basic general education" has the objective of developing an educational proposal that promotes the teaching of reading and writing in the area Language and Literature through the use of the DUA. The DUA is considered as a strategy that improves attention to educational diversity and eliminates barriers to learning, providing support to the teacher to form an inclusive education. According to pre-professional practices, it was evidenced that within the classroom it is the place where there are more barriers in education and less interest in the educational variety is provided. The information that was collected is of a quantitative nature, surveys were carried out towards the teachers of the Institution at the basic elementary and middle levels. The results found particularize that teachers do not have knowledge about attending to diversity and that they do not care about providing inclusive learning in the mutual learning process. There arises the need to create a strategic proposal based on the educational text of the students through the use of the DUA for learning to read and write.
