| Abstract: | In This thesis, the study was done of standard 802.15.4/ZigBee for application in intelligent buildings in the city of Cuenca, were Analyzed methods and techniques for controlling of lighting, climate monitoring and management of smart meters, focused on ZigBee technology products that presents. The experimental results were obtained based on the MATLAB platform, analyzing the network topology and infrastructure of the building, plus was done some suggestions according to the coverage area presented by the ZigBee network devices. |
| Translated abstract: | En este trabajo de tesis, se presenta el estudio del estándar 802.15.4/ZigBee para su aplicación en edificaciones inteligentes en la ciudad de Cuenca, se analizó los métodos y técnicas para el control de iluminación, climatización y la gestión de contadores inteligentes enfocados en los productos que la tecnología ZigBee presenta, los resultados experimentales se obtuvieron en base a la plataforma MATLAB, analizando la topología de red y la infraestructura del inmueble, a partir de ello se plantea algunas sugerencias de acuerdo al área de cobertura que presentan los dispositivos de la red ZigBee. |
