| Abstract: | Este trabajo investigativo trata sobre las habilidades sociales que desarrollan los estudiantes del Instituto de Educación Especial del Norte que presentan asociada a su discapacidad intelectual moderada o severa, síndrome de Down, la baja visón; cómo éstas influyen en su comportamiento y la adaptación al medio en que se desenvuelven. La investigación fue de tipo cualitativo cuyo objetivo fue describir el desarrollo de sus habilidades sociales, evaluar y analizar el nivel de desarrollo de éstas, las necesidades de sus padres en relación a la adquisición de estas habilidades y el conocimiento que tiene los maestros de las mismas. |
| Translated abstract: | This research work deals with social skills developed by students of the Institute of Special Education North having associated with its moderate or severe intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, low vision; how these influence their behavior and adaptation to the environment in which they operate. The qualitative research was aimed at describing the development of their social skills, evaluate and analyze the level of development of these, the needs of parents in relation to the acquisition of these skills and knowledge that teachers have the same . |
