Abstract

In the Parish of Ascázubi Cayambe located in Canton Province Pichincha at 2600 meters average temperature 15 ° C and 75% relative humidity. We evaluated the performance of the quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) against four treatments of light (12 hours light, 14 hours light, 16 hours of light and 18 hours of light), they were distributed in a completely randomized design (DCA) composite steel cage with triple table 0.48 x 0.48 x 85 m with an amount of 12 animals per cage and a total of 192 animals in the experiment, we consider four replicates.
