Abstract:	This work validates the interoperability of Siemens, SEL, and Schneider protection relays in an IEEE 9-bus system through ANSI functions and the IEC 61850 standard. Coordination, selectivity, and GOOSE/MMS communication were verified through simulations and experimental tests conducted at the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana laboratory.
Translated abstract:	Este trabajo valida la interoperabilidad de relés de protección Siemens, SEL y Schneider en un sistema IEEE de 9 barras, mediante funciones ANSI y el estándar IEC 61850. Se verificó la coordinación, selectividad y comunicación GOOSE/MMS a través de simulaciones y ensayos experimentales en el laboratorio de la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana.
