Diseño geométrico y estructural del tramo de vía Floresta – Y de Quingeo en la parroquia Cumbe, cantón Cuenca, provincia del Azuay

Abstract

This technical project focuses on the geometric and structural design of the Floresta – Y de Quingeo road section in Cumbe. The project was developed based on relevant literature, AASHTO 93, and MTOP 2003 guidelines. Key aspects of the design include the calculation of Average Daily Traffic (ADT), Equivalent Single Axle Loads (ESALs), horizontal and vertical geometric design, pavement structure design, drainage works, signage, and a referential budget. The primary objective is to ensure a safe roadway for both the residents and passersby.
