dc.descriptionLa industria camaronera representa una de las fuentes más importantes de riquezas para la economía ecuatoriana. Por este motivo, el objetivo del estudio consistió en analizar la situación económica del sector camaronero guayaquileño, periodo 2018-2023. La metodología aplicada fue descriptiva, no experimental, transversal, documental, con enfoque mixto o cuali-cuantitativo, con análisis estadístico de 24 registros oficiales sobre variables de la industria camaronera y PIB, así como una entrevista validada y formulada a tres expertos en esta materia, para comprender la evolución de este sector productivo, identificar los desafíos que enfrenta el sector, los factores que afectan o benefician al entorno camaronero y las medidas para fortalecer su competitividad.spa
dc.description.abstractThe shrimp industry represents one of the most important sources of wealth for the Ecuadorian economy. For this reason, the objective of the study was to analyze the economic situation of the Guayaquil shrimp sector, period 2018-2023. The methodology applied was descriptive, nonexperimental, transversal, documentary, with a mixed or qualitative-quantitative approach, with statistical analysis of 24 official records on variables of the shrimp industry and GDP, as well as a validated interview formulated with three experts in this matter. to understand the evolution of this productive sector, identify the challenges facing the sector, the factors that affect or benefit the shrimp environment and the measures to strengthen its competitiveness.spa
