| Abstract: | The use of stories in early childhood is crucial for the education and development of a country. In the methodological proposal, the aim is to create an interactive story to promote reading at the high school level in the Eugenio Espejo Educational Unit, year 2024. Despite having a number of books in the classroom, there is an initial rejection of reading. The mixed-type research applied various tools, such as the story "Chester and his friends", achieving positive results by increasing children's interest and participation in reading. |
| Translated abstract: | El uso de cuentos en la primera infancia es crucial para la educación y desarrollo de un país. En la propuesta metodológica, se busca crear un cuento interactivo para promover la lectura en el nivel de preparatoria en la Unidad Educativa Eugenio Espejo, año 2024. A pesar de contar con cantidad de libros en el aula, existe un rechazo inicial a la lectura. La investigación, de tipo mixto, aplicó diversas herramientas, como el cuento "Chester y sus amigos", logrando resultados positivos al aumentar el interés y la participación de los niños en la lectura. |
