| Abstract: | The thesis optimizes the grounding system at the Salesian Polytechnic University, Cuenca Campus. The Wenner method is used, along with 62% to evaluate soil and mesh resistance. MATLAB code is created for its calculation. 1/0 bare and TTU variant conductors are used, with a resistance of 0.0471 ohms. It considers expansions and compliance with engineering standards to ensure safety and continuity in the university environment. |

Se emplea el método Wenner y el 62% para evaluar resistencia del suelo y mallas. Se crea código en MATLAB para su cálculo. Se usan conductores calibre 1/0 desnudo y de variante TTU, con resistencia de 0.0471 ohmios. Considera expansiones y cumplimiento de estándares de ingeniería para asegurar seguridad y continuidad en el entorno universitario. |
