Determinación social del trabajo y el estrés en trabajadores de “delivery” en el sector Sur de Quito, año 2023

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the social determination of work and its relationship with work stress in delivery workers in the southern sector of Quito. The work, the way and the lifestyle affect each individual in a positive or negative way, resulting in work stress damaging the physical and mental part of each subject. The methodology used has a mixed approach with a correlational scope. To measure the level of stress the EPISTRES questionnaire was used and to evaluate social determination the social insertion questionnaire (INSOC) was applied, additionally tools such as photo voice and social mapping were used. Among the results obtained, it is established that the social class of the worker does not influence work stress. However, the work conditions plus the ways and styles of living do affect work stress.
