| Abstract: | The potential of carnivorous and herbivorous mammal manure as an energy source was evaluated. Of the mixtures analyzed, the herbivorous manure generated more biogas, however, the methane content was low, concluding that it is not feasible to cover the energy needs of the bioparque under the parameters of the experiment. |
| Translated abstract: | Se evaluó el potencial del estiércol de mamíferos carnívoros y herbívoros como fuente de energía. De las mezclas analizadas el estiércol herbívoro generó más biogás, sin embargo, el contenido de metano fue bajo concluyendo que no es factible cubrir las necesidades energéticas del bioparque bajo de los parámetros del experimento. |
