Abstract: He product is a photo album accompanied by a scholarly article, in which they can reflect and restore an identity that remains rooted in the collective memory of the people of Barrio San Juan Bautista de Cumbayá, making a tour of three days of festivities which they are: Saturday eve, party Sunday and Monday rooster nickname as well as the main characters that are characteristic of the celebration. It will also make a tour of their historical memory, construction of identity and the expressions of the community. The oral report is a source for analyzing the behavior and the construction of the neighborhood's identity and photography is an essential tool for the maintenance of culture and heritage in this case was the deal as a fundamental tool to show different cultural events of the holidays, so be descriptive qualitative methodology to give a clearer picture of the different elements that make up the festivities analysis. Photography is a visual record that enriches the subject of collective memory, so that the product to be developed is a photo album collection of various photographs that the neighborhood's history and displays a short introduction of the parish, told from the inhabitants themselves. Old photographs will be compiled from the same local people and at that point a closer look of the participants of the party will, therefore other communicative product was not chosen.
