Libro fotográfico para la recuperación del simbolismo de la indumentaria de los personajes de la fiesta del Corpus Christi del Barrio San Carlos de Alangasí

Abstract

This research work with intercultural and communicational approach aims to recover the symbolic value that has the apparel of each character who participates in the celebration of Corpus Christi in the neighborhood San Carlos de Alangasí. The work will use photography as a tool to explain the symbolic value of this cultural activity. The photographic book is a visual record that will create a symbolic approach between society and intangible traditions. The editorial proposal is aimed at the in habitants and authorities of Barrio San Carlos, institutions of the parish of Alangasí and for university students. The observation method will collect data to describe the festival and create the theoretical framework with information necessary to achieve the objective of our study, additional will be used the method of the interview to know empirical data of people who participate in the party. The research will be of a qualitative nature, capture through photography the events of the beginning, development and culmination of the festival in such a way as to answer, clear unknowns about the celebration, also increase the information on the symbolism of every costume of this celebration.
