| Resumen traducido: | La presente investigación, de la línea de comunicación y ciudadanía con eje en comunicación y diversidades sexo genéricas, trabaja en la percepción de los habitantes de la Mariscal Foch sobre la comunidad gay quiteña con la finalidad de saber cómo es percibida la existencia de las actividades y la presencia de los diferentes miembros gay de la comunidad LGBTI en el espacio público de la ciudad de Quito. Además, el presente artículo académico recaba e identifica cuál es la opinión que generan estas actividades en los habitantes de la Mariscal Foch, refiriéndose a habitantes como aquellos individuos que viven, moran, trabajan o transitan cotidianamente por este espacio de encuentro y socialización. También, se identifica y visibiliza los lugares de encuentro de las personas gay del colectivo LGBTI. Cabe recalcar que en todo el proceso de esta investigación se utiliza la teoría del interaccionismo simbólico para analizar el lenguaje verbal y no verbal de los habitantes de la Mariscal Foch respecto al colectivo gay quiteño. |
| Resumen : | The present investigation, of the line of communication and citizenship with axis in communication and generic sex diversities, it is found out what is the perception of the inhabitants of the Mariscal Foch about the gay community in Quito with the purpose of knowing how it is perceived the existence of the activities and the presence of the different gay members of the LGBTI community in the public space of the city of Quito. In addition, this academic article collects and identifies what is the opinion that these activities generate in the inhabitants of Mariscal Foch, referring to inhabitants as those individuals who live, dwell, work or transit daily in this space of encounter and socialization. It also identifies and makes visible the meeting places of gay people of the LGBTI collective. It should be noted that throughout the process of this research the theory of symbolic interactionism is used to analyze the verbal and non-verbal language of the inhabitants of Mariscal Foch respecting to the gay community in Quito. |
