| Abstract: | The Inter-Institution Committee of Agroindustry formed by MAGAP, MIPRO, several organizations of the private sector, in cooperation with the national Conference of Food Sovereignty are currently working on the participative Law of Agroindustry Development. This paper includes a survey of the Agroindustry and deals with the importance of this sector for Ecuador’s economy which needs prioritization by a law promoting its development. |
| Translated abstract: | Actualmente la Comisión Interinstitucional de Agroindustria integrada por el MAGAP, el MIPRO, algunas organizaciones del sector privado, en alianza con la Conferencia Nacional de Soberanía Alimentaria, se encuentran trabajando en la elaboración participativa de la Ley de Desarrollo Agroindustrial. En este artículo se ha expuesto un diagnóstico agroindustrial y se ha presentando la importancia que tiene la agroindustria en la economía ecuatoriana misma que hoy en día necesita priorizar con la ejecución de una ley específica que promueva su desarrollo y fomento. |
