| Abstract: | The development of thought is a fundamental part in the formation of the individual, but discussing this topic within the realm of Philosophy implies transcending biological structures - physiological and psychological – to analyze deeper ones, such as values, consciousness, otherness, the meaning of life and freedom. Topics such as these, forgotten today by the rapid advance of technology, communication and science, must be addressed in order to find answers to the challenges of an increasingly complex society. Undoubtedly, education plays an important role in the development of thought, which is why it is the right way to take the first step in the transformation of reality through the teaching of Philosophy. |
| Translated abstract: | El desarrollo del pensamiento es una parte fundamental en la formación integral de la persona, pero hablar de este tema dentro de la filosofía implica trascender las estructuras biológicas, fisiológicas y psicológicas para analizar otras más profundas, como los valores, la concientización, la alteridad, el sentido de la vida y la libertad. Estos temas, ya olvidados en la actualidad por el vertiginoso avance de la tecnología, las comunicaciones y la ciencia, deben ser abordados para hallar respuestas a los desafíos de una sociedad cada vez más compleja. Sin duda la educación juega un papel muy importante en el desarrollo del pensamiento, de ahí que ella sea la vía correcta para dar el primer paso en la transformación de la realidad, a través del aprendizaje de la filosofía. |
