| Abstract: | This is a photographic documentary that records all manifestations of popular culture that occur around the festival that takes place in the parish of San Joaquin every May. This festival is made in honor of the Virgin Auxiliadora, Patroness and Protectress of this parish. This work has been made as a contribution to the recovery of historical memory for the inhabitants of this area and why not for Cuenca city. In addition it urges to be declared as Intangible Heritage. |
| Translated abstract: | Este es un documental fotográfico que registra todas las manifestaciones de la cultura popular que se dan alrededor de la fiesta que se realiza en la parroquia San Joaquín todos los meses de mayo y que es en honor de la Virgen Auxiliadora, Patrona y Protectora de esta parroquia, como un aporte para la recuperación de la memoria histórica para los habitantes de esta área y por qué no de la ciudad de cuenca, instando también a que se la declare como Patrimonio Intangible. |
