Abstract

Agro ecological production system provides growing techniques to small farmers in Cuenca. The products are well accepted in the market. Nevertheless, the process has weakness such as limited offer, high production costs and low incomes. Public institutions must train the farmers to guarantee suitable production levels and adequate incomes.
