| Abstract: | El tema de investigación, en el primer capítulo se refiere al entorno de los actores sociales involucrados, a la historia de la Universidad en el Ecuador; y al ámbito de acción del DMQ, su estructura y empresas municipales que apoyan su gestión. También se hace referencia a la educación superior ecuatoriana que en la Constitución y en la Ley Orgánica de Educación de Educación Superior es considerada como un área estratégica, y que tiene como eje principal el mejoramiento de la calidad de la educación superior, su pertinencia con la generación de conocimiento a través de la investigación científica tecnológica para alcanzar el objetivo final que es el desarrollo de la sociedad y el buen vivir. |
| Translated abstract: | The research topic in the first chapter deals with the environment of those involved, the history of the University in Ecuador stakeholders, and the scope of the DMQ, its structure and local businesses managed by the local government that support management. It also refers to the Ecuadorian university education that in the Constitution and the Organic Law of University Education is considered a strategic area, and whose main objective is to improve the quality of university education, its relevance to the generation of knowledge through scientific research technology to achieve the ultimate goal is the development of society and the good life. |
