| Abstract: | El tema de la investigación, analiza la situación socio laboral de los estudiantes egresados del INSTITUTO DE EDUCACIÓN ESPECIAL DE PUYO , quienes por haber cumplido la edad máxima para permanecer como estudiantes en el proceso pedagógico que efectúa el personal del instituto, no se encuentran incluidos socio laboralmente. Luego de haber desarrollado sus habilidades físico - mentales especiales, egresan del establecimiento y se enfrentan con una nueva etapa en su vida, al convertirse en entes autónomos pero que aun no han sido acogidos por la sociedad como una persona común, independiente y capaz de desenvolverse en la sociedad; por lo que inician la búsqueda de una fuente laboral que les permita contribuir al desarrollo de su familia, comunidad y país.
