Abstract: La investigación de tesis se desarrolla a partir de tres capítulos que permiten clasificar y distribuir de mejor manera la información y así, cumplir con los objetivos planteados en el anteproyecto de la tesis: reivindicar la imagen de los artesanos de Pichincha, y percibirlos como profesionales que han logrado sobrevivir frente al acelerado crecimiento poblacional y las diferentes concepciones artísticas que se exponen en Quito. Para demostrar los objetivos, la investigación expone de manera práctica un producto comunicacional en video que plasma la historia de los artesanos a través de sus vivencias a lo largo de los años.
Translated abstract: The thesis researches develops from three chapters for classifying and better distributes information and thus, meet the goals outlined in the draft of the thesis: to claim the image of the artisans of Pichincha, and perceive them as professionals have survived against the rapid population growth and different artistic concepts set out in Quito. To demonstrate the objectives, the research presents a practical way video communication product that embodies the history of artisans through their experiences throughout the years.
