Abstract

The purpose of this project is to present the advantages presented by the Digital Terrestrial Television under the International Standard adopted ISDB-Tb in Ecuador, analyzing their applicability in our setting, through feasibility analysis the implementation of this technology in the Austral TV television channel, so that this medium of television to choose the best alternative when making the migration to Digital Terrestrial Television. Since this is a market innovator in the region presents a technical and economic study of the transition process, which is coupled to the claims of the local media, taking into account an economic return to the channel, as well as improving service that aims to provide its viewers.
