Diseño y construcción de un prototipo para el envejecimiento de arroz con capacidad de 40 Kg/dia

Abstract

The present titillation project embraces the design and construction of a prototype of aging rice. The recently harvested, given rice its high percentage of humidity, doesn't possess the appropriate qualities for the feeding and for it he/she knows it to him as "new rice" and its price is low. This rice should be dried under certain conditions that at the same time that it reduces its humidity, their molecular chains that improve its pleasure notably when being ingested transforms. The substantial difference of the cost of sale of new rice and an old rice makes that at the present time, the small and medium rice farmer appeals to big you aging rice machine, to improve the quality of his product and to obtain a bigger price in his sale, being that the industries are taken the biggest gain. With the construction of the prototype aging rice he benefits to the small and medium farmer, their capacity it loads it is medium and the time of aging of the rice is compared with the big industries. The present work is organized in the following way: In the Chapter one the terms and concepts used in the agriculture is summarized, as well as varieties, types of rice and existent rice areas in the Ecuador. In the Chapter two are carried out a field study, as well as the parameters that have been considered for the present design, the alternatives, their analyses and the selection of the same ones. In the Chapter three the design is developed from the mechanical elements to be built and the selection of the respective materials. The quarter Chapter is detailed the processes of construction of the prototype, assembly and field tests. In the fifth Chapter it tries on the direct, indirect costs and of engineering of the design of the prototype of aging rice.
