| Abstract: | This study is based on Judgment No. 184-18-SEP-CC issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, in which the Court faced the challenge of analyzing whether the actions of the Civil Registry by denying the registration of a daughter born into a same-sex female couple violated rights recognized in the Constitution. |
| Translated abstract: | El presente estudio se basa en la sentencia No. 184-18-SEP-CC emitida por la Corte Constitucional, en la cual la Corte enfrento del desafío de analizar si el actuar del registro civil al negar la inscripción de una hija nacida en una familia homoparental, afecto derechos reconocidos en la constitución. |
