| Abstract: | This thesis proposes the design of a new drinking water distribution network for the San Carlos sector, El Valle parish, in Cuenca, due to leakage problems, high pressures and poor coverage in the current network. A topographic and demographic analysis was carried out, considering national technical standards. The design projects future demand until 2050. The network includes 2.44 km of pipe, control and pressure valves. |
| Translated abstract: | La presente tesis plantea el diseño de una nueva red de distribución de agua potable para el sector San Carlos, parroquia El Valle, en Cuenca, debido a problemas de fugas, presiones elevadas y cobertura deficiente en la red actual. Se realizó un análisis topográfico y demográfico, considerando normas técnicas nacionales. El diseño proyecta la demanda futura hasta el año 2050. La red contempla 2,44 km de tubería, válvulas de control y presión. |
