La credibilidad de la resurrección de Jesús en el contexto contemporáneo

Abstract

This essay addresses the problem of the credibility of the resurrection of Jesus in the contemporary context, where rationalism, secularization and modern ideologies have weakened faith in this central event of Christianity. The way in which these obstacles can be faced and overcome through an approach that integrates biblical, theological and historical evidence is also considered. To demonstrate the credibility of the resurrection, arguments of reason and historical, biblical and theological foundations are used. Documentary analysis of historical and extra-biblical texts is also used to understand the knowledge of the event of the resurrection in ancient times. On the other hand, as a case study, the relevance of the Shroud of Turin as a modern sign that poses challenges to reason about the character printed on said Shroud is explored. In the end, pedagogical strategies are established to contribute to the adequate transmission of the resurrection event focused on young people.
