La Cultura del Silencio como estrategia de Evangelización. Un enfoque desde Karl Rahner

Abstract

Evangelization faces the challenge of communicating the Christian message in a world saturated with information and noise. This study, inspired by the thought of Karl Rahner, proposes silence as an essential way to revitalize spirituality. Rahner does not understand it as a mere absence of sound, but as a conscious choice that facilitates the encounter with the divine. In this context, he proposes a culture of silence as a response to sensory overload, promoting spaces for deep reflection and an authentic approach to faith. The article suggests integrating silence in pastoral ministry through its inclusion in the liturgy, the creation of specific spaces and the formation of leaders committed to its practice. From interviews with religious leaders, it is evident that the use of silence favors introspection, improves the receptivity of the Christian message and strengthens the spiritual life, becoming a transforming and necessary tool.
