Abstract

The following research was conducted on hoof conditions in 100 dairy cows in Tarqui, Cuenca canton, where the most common diseases were interdigital and digital dermatitis, and white line disease. The majority of cases affected the right hind limb, and cows between 3 to 5 years of age in lactation were the most affected. These results emphasize the importance of applying preventive measures and appropriate treatments.
