| Abstract: | This research examines the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic stress in university students. Emotional intelligence is defined as the ability to identify, understand, and manage one's own emotions and the emotions of others. On the other hand, academic stress refers to the pressure and tension that students experience due to their academic responsibilities. The study was conducted with a sample of 113 third-year high school students from a private educational institution. A combination of standardized batteries was used to measure the dimensions of emotional intelligence and the levels of academic stress in the participants |
| Translated abstract: | Esta investigación examina la relación entre la inteligencia emocional y el estrés académico en estudiantes universitarios. La inteligencia emocional se define como la capacidad de identificar, comprender y manejar las emociones propias y ajenas. Por otro lado, el estrés académico se refiere a la presión y tensión que los estudiantes experimentan debido a sus responsabilidades académicas. El estudio se llevó a cabo con una muestra de 113 estudiantes de tercero de bachillerato de una unidad educativa privada. Se utilizó una combinación de baterías estandarizadas para medir las dimensiones de inteligencia emocional y los niveles de estrés académico en los participantes. |
