Abstract

The research designed strategies to optimize yields in the production of oral solids in a pharmaceutical laboratory. Causes of losses were identified and Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma were applied, achieving standardization, less waste and greater efficiency. The results improved yields, quality and costs, demonstrating viability and return on investment.
