| Abstract: | The purpose of the study is to evaluate the economic impact of the EFTA-Ecuador Agreement on bilateral trade during the 2020-2023 period. Through the analysis of tariff headings and the use of a gravity model, a continuous increase in exports and imports, especially to Switzerland, was observed, benefiting Ecuadorian trade. |
| Translated abstract: | El fin del estudio es evaluar el impacto económico del Acuerdo EFTA-Ecuador en el comercio bilateral durante el período 2020-2023. A través del análisis de partidas arancelarias y uso de un modelo gravitacional, se observó un incremento continuo en exportaciones e importaciones, especialmente hacia Suiza, favoreciendo el comercio ecuatoriano. |
