Abstract

This case study aims to investigate the reasons behind the importance of play in promoting the language development of kindergarten students. It highlights the importance of the language acquisition process of kindergarten students and the appropriate motivation for language development. The lack of implementation of play in language development was investigated as a problem in learning. Play is useful and educational for infants' learning, allowing them to acquire fundamental cognitive, social and emotional skills in a dynamic and adequate manner. Children develop language skills through play by interacting with their peers and adults, facilitating the acquisition of vocabulary, grammatical structures and communication skills. In this research a qualitative approach methodology will be used. It was carried out through an interview and observations of infants in Initial 1. This approach will allow us to gain an in-depth understanding of how play influences language development in this group. This case study will contribute to the understanding of the relationship between play and language development, thus seeking to promote comprehensive and meaningful learning that will help develop various cognitive, social and emotional skills in the infants.
