Análisis del comportamiento y evolución de las exportaciones en el sector industrial florícola en el cantón Pedro Moncayo (Tabacundo), entre los años 2020 a 2023

Abstract

The study analyzes the economic behavior of floricultural companies in the Canton of Pedro Moncayo, Ecuador, during the period 2020-2023. The general objective is to understand the evolution of exports and the impact of factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic and climatic conditions. The methodology combines qualitative and quantitative approaches, using interviews, surveys, and economic data. The results show sustained growth in exports despite fluctuations caused by the pandemic and other global factors. Key strategies include market diversification, implementation of quality and sustainability certifications, and investment in infrastructure and technology. The conclusions highlight the resilience and adaptability of the floricultural sector in Pedro Moncayo, emphasizing the importance of innovation and sustainable practices to maintain competitiveness in the global market. The main recommendation is to continue strengthening these strategies and exploring new market opportunities and international trade agreements to reduce costs and improve competitiveness.
