| Abstract: | This technical research project, focused on the Girón-Curiquingue Road in Azuay, aims to geometrically and structurally design the road pavement, following MTOP and ASSHTO 93 regulations. Field studies were carried out to propose optimal solutions, establishing a design with a 6 meter roadway, 3 inch flexible pavement, and a speed of 40 km/h. The reference budget for the work is 530,992.04 USD. |
| Translated abstract: | Este proyecto técnico de investigación, enfocado en la vía Girón – Curiquingue en Azuay, tiene como objetivo diseñar geométrica y estructuralmente el pavimento de la carretera, siguiendo normativas del MTOP y ASSHTO 93. Se realizaron estudios en campo para plantear soluciones óptimas, estableciendo un diseño con una calzada de 6 metros, pavimento flexible de 3 pulgadas, y una velocidad de 40 km/h. El presupuesto referencial de la obra es de 530,992.04 USD. |
