| Abstract: | The main purpose of the titling work is to use the PCI procedure to estimate the Pavement Condition Index on the El Carmen de Sinincay-Lazareto road, examining in detail 2418.30 meters on the road to identify faults and determine its condition, the following evaluation was carried out dividing the road into two lanes both for round trip each of them with 13 sections of samples to be evaluated, in which the detail of the calculation is explained and how it was done to arrive at the values obtained from the pavement results, the main failures found in the flexible asphalt, the detailed process of the PCI method and its implementation in the monographic study area, along with the presentation of the scopes obtained for each unit of analysis. |
| Translated abstract: | El trabajo de titulación posee como propósito principal valerse del procedimiento PCI para estimar el Índice de Condición de Pavimento en la vía de El Carmen de Sinincay-Lazareto, examinando detalladamente 2418,30 metros en la vía para identificar fallos y determinar su estado, la siguiente evaluación se realizó dividiendo la vía en dos carriles tanto para ida y vuelta cada uno de ellos con 13 tramos de muestras a evaluar, en el cual se explica el detalle del cálculo y como se hizo para llegar a los valores obtenidos de los resultados del pavimento, las principales fallas encontradas en el asfalto flexible, el proceso detallado del método PCI y su implementación en la zona monográfica de estudio, junto con la presentación de los alcances obtenidos para cada unidad de análisis. |
