Responsabilidad social empresarial de las empresas del sector industrial de Guayaquil

Abstract

This research addresses Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the context of the industrial sector of Guayaquil, Ecuador, responding to the growing relevance of ethical and sustainable practices in the business environment. The justification for this topic lies in the prevailing need to evaluate and promote CSR as a key element for the sustainable development of companies in the region. The main objective of this study is to examine the implementation of ethical and sustainable behaviors in the industrial business environment in Guayaquil, highlighting its impact on the social and environmental environment. The methodology used was based on a mixed approach. The sample consisted of representative companies of the Guayaquil industrial sector, selected through stratified sampling. The results revealed a varied implementation of responsible practices, with some companies leading significant initiatives, while others showed areas for improvement.
