| Abstract: | The research analyzed the low participation of SMEs in Guayaquil in the stock market, this due to factors such as ignorance and fear of risk that makes them desist from investing in this market. The objective of the study was to analyze investment strategies in the stock market for SMEs; The type of research that was applied was transversal and non experimental, addressing various theoretical sources to support the research. Surveys were carried out on the 91 SMEs that operate in the Guayaquil stock market and interviews with professionals with knowledge in the financial and investment area. In the market, the results obtained show that the financial instruments most requested by SMEs are bonds, short or long-term obligations, among others. |
| Translated abstract: | La investigación analizó la poca participación de las pymes de Guayaquil en el mercado de valores, esto a causa de factores como el desconocimiento y miedo al riesgo que les hace desistir de invertir en este mercado. El objetivo del estudio fue analizar las estrategias de inversión en el mercado de valores para las pymes; el tipo de investigación que se aplicó fue transversal y no experimental, abordando diversas fuentes teóricas para sustentar la investigación, se realizaron encuestas a las 91 pymes que rigen en el mercado de valores de Guayaquil y entrevistas a profesionales con conocimiento en el área financiera e inversiones en el mercado, los resultados obtenidos muestran que los instrumentos financieros más solicitados por las pymes son los bonos, obligaciones a corto o largo plazo, entre otros. |
