This academic article examines the phenomenon of tourism linked to sports events in Guayaquil, highlighting its contributions and challenges, aiming to propose recommendations to enhance this activity. A mixed-methods approach was employed, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methods, including surveys of 368 citizens, tourists, and athletes, as well as interviews with key local stakeholders. |
