Abstract

This study analyzes the employability and quality of life of centennials in Guayaquil. Despite work challenges, this generation highlights its ability to use technological tools in the creation of virtual businesses and content with social impact. The results show many young people obtaining or pursuing college degrees, demonstrating commitment to education and seeking professional opportunities. It is concluded that employment has a strong impact on the quality of life and is influenced by the personal characteristics of each individual. It is suggested to improve employability and living conditions through vocational education and training, including soft and technical skills from an early age. These measures will contribute to both dependency and personal independence.
