Abstract

The fundamental purpose of this article is to analyze the effects of insecurity on business management in the center and south of Guayaquil, diagnose the main crimes at the business level that have occurred in the last two years, evaluate the effects of insecurity on economic and financial development, and propose strategies to reduce the risk of economic and financial losses. For this, two stages were established; In the first, three security experts were interviewed to obtain specialized information and in the second, a survey was carried out among the work team to obtain detailed information on the trends and challenges in business security.
