| Abstract: | The present investigation explores the analysis of the export behavior of pitahaya in the Asian market. The current trends in organic food consumption and the nutritional properties of pitahaya provide Ecuador with the opportunity to enter international markets. Recent exports to Asian countries have resulted in an increase in pitahaya production and export, as well as an increase in foreign currency, benefiting the country's trade balance. |
| Translated abstract: | La presente investigación indaga sobre el análisis del comportamiento de exportación de la pitahaya en el mercado asiático. Las tendencias actuales de consumo de alimentos orgánicos y las propiedades nutricionales de la pitahaya brindan a Ecuador la oportunidad de ingresar a los mercados internacionales. Las exportaciones recientes a países asiáticos han generado un aumento en la producción y exportación de la pitahaya, así como un incremento en las divisas, beneficiando la balanza comercial del país. |
