Abstract

The present work addresses the problem that the Girón - Curiquingue road has, characterized by a deplorable state with the presence of potholes, mud and dust, at different times of the year, which limits its inhabitants to access basic services quickly and safely, having a direct impact on the life quality of the residents of the sector. Therefore, the project focuses on carrying out studies of the road infrastructure in order to comprehensively improve it in the future. This project includes a survey of the topographic strip, as well as the geometric and structural design of the road, in addition to an analysis of the pavement design that guarantees durability and resistance.
