Análisis de métodos de reforzamiento sísmico de muros para el Centro Histórico de Cuenca

Abstract

The paper deals with structural design according to standards such as NEC, ACI and ASCE, evaluating the use of GFRP sheets and bars in seismic strengthening. Data from other studies are used to model a house in ETABS, determining moments and forces in masonry walls. The design resulted in the arrangement of the GFRP sheets and GFRP bars in the masonry wall, which could not be modeled by evaluating the masonry considering the reinforcements to be placed.
