Abstract: This project focuses on the geometric and structural design of the San Cristóbal-Malima road in Azuay, from abscissa 14+500 to 17+400 km, with the aim of guaranteeing road safety. A topographic survey and traffic count were carried out. The project complied with current regulations regarding the geometric design of the road. A soil study was carried out to understand the geotechnical characteristics and ensure pavement stability.
Translated abstract: Este proyecto se enfoca en el diseño geométrico y estructural de la vía San Cristóbal-Malima en Azuay, desde la abscisa 14+500 hasta la 17+400 km, con el objetivo de garantizar la seguridad vial. Se realizó un levantamiento topográfico y conteo de tráfico. El proyecto cumplió con las normativas vigentes en cuanto al diseño geométrico de la carretera. Se llevó a cabo un estudio de suelos para comprender las características geotécnicas y garantizar la estabilidad del pavimento.
