| Abstract: | In the present investigation, the prevalence of gastrointestinal parasites in cattle from Piñas and Zaruma cantons was determined by coprological analysis using flotation, sedimentation and McMaster's technique. A positive prevalence of 31.65 % (100/316) and a negative prevalence of 68.35 % (216/316) were obtained. |
| Translated abstract: | En la presente investigación se determinó la prevalencia de parásitos gastrointestinales en ganado bovino de los cantones Piñas y Zaruma por análisis coprológico por los métodos de flotación, sedimentación y técnica de McMaster. Se obtuvo una prevalencia positiva de 31,65 % (100/316) y una prevalencia negativa de 68,35 % (216/316). |
