Abstract: | This comparative study, part of the Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement between the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Azuay Province and the Salesian Polytechnic University, focuses on the Zhidmad-Jadan road in the Gualaceo canton. Its purpose is to design a flexible pavement structure to determine the most efficient option in material savings. Three alternatives are analyzed: Conventional Flexible Pavement, with Cement Stabilized Base, and Reinforced with Geosynthetics, with the latter being the most promising. |
