Las estrategias pedagógicas aplicadas en el refuerzo académico del área de lengua y literatura en 2do año de educación básica en una institución de Quito

Abstract

Academic reinforcement is important for the student since it represents a right in the school field where teachers have the obligation to provide this support and follow up with those who need it to achieve learning outcomes. Through the pre-professional practices held in an Educational Institution in the center of Quito, it was evidenced that the students in the 2nd year of Basic Education lack the skills in the Language and Literature area, which should be achieved through the development of skills in the area. stated in the National Curriculum. The present investigation had as its objective to analyze the pedagogical strategies applied for academic reinforcement in the area of Language and Literature with the students in 2nd year of Basic General Education at an educational institution in Quito. The research is mixed with a descriptive scope. Interviews were applied to four teachers and the information observed in field diaries was collected. The findings show that the teachers have solid knowledge regarding the purpose of the Language and Literature subject, as well as about the pedagogical strategies, they fully know the purpose of academic reinforcement and apply different strategies to carry it out. This research concludes that thanks to academic reinforcement, language skills improved in the area of Language and Literature
