Serie de podcast sobre identidad no binaria

Abstract

The following essay report exhibits what "Beyond the binary spectrum" is about, a podcast made up of a series of interviews in which we talked from various subject matters such as education, politics, workplace, and art in relation to non-binary identity. Such subjects that were addressed in the interviews emerged from Critical Theory and Queer Theory. Authors including Paul B. Preciado, Judith Butler, Pierre Bourdieu, among others were taken as a reference on this exploratory. For a better understanding this research was divided into three sections: gender identity, non-binary identity, and the transcendence of this podcast in non-binary spaces. In the first section of this podcast, we explained the uses and meanings surrounding the non-binary community with the support of theorists with experience on the field. The second part exposes the requirements and calls for opportunities presented by the non-binary community. Finally, the relevance of this podcast and how it can serve as a tool to help bring visibility and representation to this group. It was relevant to emphasize what findings were obtained through the conduction of these interviews which were summarized in four categories: Representation of the self in virtual spaces Criticism of the current binary education system non-binary identities in ancestral communities Non-sexist or inclusive language.
